2017 was the start of my 6th year in business. I'm not going to sugar-coat anything, looking back at my old flyers and even logo from when I started makes me cringe! I was so anxious to start that I barely took the time to plan out my logo or branding, offered every product under the sun and then, the most crazy of all, was saying yes to everything. After my daughter was born, I learned that families and newborns were my passion but I wasn't ready to make the leap to solely doing just that. Once my son was born a few years later and I had a bit more experience under my belt, I felt that the time had come to say no to weddings and to keep my focus on newborns and babies and then the family as a whole.
Now that I know who I am as a photographer, the look and feel I always find myself capturing in my photos and then the editing afterwards, it helped me to create a logo and branding that fit ME and my WORK. It is soooo important that everything melded together and represented not only me but what I stand for. You will not find me offering digitals with my sessions. That's not what I believe in. I want every single one of my clients to see their photos IN PRINT and walk away with product they can feel happy hanging on their walls or albums they can look through over the years with their children. If you want digitals, great! You can purchase them but you're also going to get physical prints from your session as well! ;)
